Buffalo Auto Show

The annual Buffalo Auto Show starts today at 11 a.m. (and runs through Sunday) at the Buffalo Convention Center, featuring new cars, show cars, celebrities, and more.

Of course, the main event at any car show is the cars, and the 2013 models will be out in force, along with a few 2014s (but unfortunately not the 2014 Sting Ray).

Baseball fans, particularly N.Y. Yankee fans, may want to circle Thursday evening on their calendar, when former third-baseman Graig Nettles puts in an appearance (6-8pm).

It’s always something car fans look forward to every winter. I still remember my Dad taking me to my first auto show in 1963 at the Masten Avenue Armory, where I made a 10-year-old pest of myself, sitting in every car and scooping up a copy of every brochure. I wish now that I kept them — they’d be worth a few bucks today. Stop on down and start your own collection this week!

You can visit the official auto show web page here.
