Nonviolence means avoiding not only external physical violence but also internal violence of spirit. You not only refuse to shoot a man, but you refuse to hate him.

$100 says that the guy with the “I Will Not Be Outgunned by the Criminals” lives in rural area where street crime is practically non-existent.

Maybe so, @Mike, and maybe that isn’t totally as ironic a coincidence as it might seem.

If that type of crime like robberies, rapes, home invasions, or carjackings really is “practically non-existent” in those parts of NY state as you said, might not higher gun ownership among potential victims be one of the main reasons?

For sure a reason isn’t the fast police response time out there – since usually there isn’t that.

And it can’t be that the NYers who live out there have less desire to commit those crimes – since it’s so well known that they’re mostly uneducated, hateful, intolerant rednecks.

As well as an educated populace being non-existent……………..

I can only thank Cuomo for radicalizing an entire segment of our society who probably would have preferred to spend election day in their tree stands up until now. Attaboy Andy, so far you’ve burned organized labor, you’re dogging teachers senseless and now all of these sane, responsible gun owners have good reason to hate your pandering guts too. Aside from a handful of Manhattan billionaires who exactly do you think is going to want you for their president in 2016? Better step up your fundraising too cause I smell a bunch of money coming in for anyone but you.
