I don’t know if this is some guy’s winter car or not (I sure hope not), but, although I photographed this 1972 Buick Skylark Custom sport coupe back in November in the parking lot of a Tonawanda speed shop, I’ve driven by several times since — including yesterday — and it’s there quite often. The French-Canadian brochure (which you can view here) referred to today’s Pic car as “le coupé sport Skylark Custom,” which to me is just more complicated. The Custom was the top-of-the-line Skylark for ’72, and over 34,000 of the two-door hardtops were sold. The line also included the base Skylark, Skylark 350, and the Skylark GS. As they say in Québec, “Grandeur moyenne, large choix.”
