YAK Car Pic of the Day

Amazing how much time one can spend (waste?) on eBay. When I was looking up the ’58 Dodge station wagon we showed you a couple of days back, I also looked up this 1967 Plymouth Barracuda notchback hardtop. I had a car very similar to this one, in Bright Blue with a matching blue interior, TorqueFlite transmission, and the 273 CID V-8. I paid $1,895 for it in the summer of 1971, and sold it (as a rusted-hunk) in the fall of 1973 for five-hundred bucks. This one on eBay (which you can view here) has a Buy-It-Now price of $12,999.99 (a two-grand-off Christmas-sale price). Troy, the seller, says it’s worth every penny. I guess he would know. If I had the 13 grand just lying around I might ring him up. Sympathizers can send donations to my PayPal account. I’ll even take you for a ride!
