The nice thing about this 1965 Ford Fairlane 500 two-door hardtop is the fact that you won’t waste one square inch of your garage once you park it in there. This has got to be one of the squarest cars to come out of Detroit. Assembly-line workers filed a record number of paper cut claims just from brushing up against the fenders. This blue beauty is another fine example of “wheels in the grass” — or at least in the weeds. (Not) surprisingly, this styling exercise was in production for only one year. Then the stylists were given back their French curves. Seen yesterday in Niagara Falls.
