YAK Car Pic of the Day

In our never-ending quest to bring you those the hard-to-find vehicles which we all know are out there someplace, here’s today’s find: a late 1940’s Studebaker M5 Coupe Express pickup, found nestled inside the warehouse of a Niagara Falls business. The building’s owner was letting the pickup’s new buyer store it there until he could take it home. The M5 in its standard guise was pretty dowdy, but for a mere $25 you could add the chrome bits you see here to dress it up some. This black example is in the final stages of a restoration, which so far looks great! I’ll have to try and track it down once it’s finished.
