They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Well, so is ugly. Okay, that might be a bit harsh, but there’s certainly something odd about the proportions of this 1958 Lloyd Alexander TS. A product of Germany, they weren’t thought of too highly by the German motoring public, at least according to that bastion of automotive trivia — Wikipedia, which tells readers: A contemporary derisive verse went “Wer den Tod nicht scheut, fährt Lloyd” (“He who is not afraid of death, drives a Lloyd”). I never would have guessed that “drives,” in German, is “fährt.” Thank you Wiki!
