YAK Car Pic of the Day

Just across Delaware Avenue in Kenmore from last week’s Buick funeral car I found this 1964 Cadillac ambulance. Judging from their blue tint, it looks like it’s wearing a set of new white sidewall tires, maybe installed at the garage whose lot it was parked in. From its shape, I’d say this old ambulance was converted by Miller-Meteor, a builder of hearses and ambulances which was at one time a division of Divco, the company that used to build those old familiar milk trucks which went out of production in the 1960s.
