YAK Car Pic of the Day

You can tell a mechanic by his car. This 1967 Chevy Chevelle SS396 is owned by one of the guys who works on our cars. The car is pristine… as is the shop, always a good sign. There were two different 396 CID engines available that year: the standard one had 325 hp, while the optional unit had 350. They both went like heck — and the hardtop had a starting price of only $2,825. Today you couldn’t buy a parts car for that much! This one is in living in Wheatfield.
