YAK Car Pic of the Day

Just in time for Halloween, it’s an orange and black 1969 Mercury Marquis Colony Park station wagon. The brochure points out the “limousine ride; concealed headlamps;” and my favorite, “tasteful brightwork,” which all spell out the fact that this is Dearborn’s most luxurious station wagon. For almost 3,900 bucks, I’d hope so. This example even has a vinyl top, and the original, nifty spinner wheel covers. The best part? It could be yours, as I found it yesterday sitting in the used car lot of Howell Motors Ford in Wrights Corners (where there were a few other vintage Ford products in the front row, which we’ll see in the next few days). See the 1969 Mercury lineup here.
