YAK Car Pic of the Day

At a glance you might think “Cool Rallye Green Z/28!” But, dear YAK reader, upon closer inspection, this is nothing more than a 1969 Chevy Camaro convertible, with the Z/28-type rear spoiler and tape stripes. The giveaway? There’s no Z/28 emblem in the rear panel between the taillights (which are also incorrect) where instead the blue bow tie sits on this car. Still looks good though, in a Niagara Falls repair shop lot. FYI, over 19,000 1969 Z/28s were produced, but it wasn’t a stand-alone model; it was an option package.
