YAK Car Pic of the Day

The story I got from the guy who runs a North Tonawanda used car lot in front of this field of, to be polite, “abandoned” cars, is that the owner bought this 1971 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special Brougham to use as a parts car for a Caddy funeral-flower car he’s restoring. I took this photo almost two years ago. Went by there this past Friday morning, and nothing has changed. Some restorations take longer than others.

Although we don’t know the shape of the Flower Car, I’d say that 60 Special looks like a candidate for an easy restoration and it would be a shame to reduce it to a parts car status.
