YAK Car Pic of the Day

Some cars age more gracefully than others. This 1963 Chevy Bel Air is one of the others. From its stance I’d say the engine’s somewhere in the next county. Along with most of the front end. See the illustrations below for a lesson in ’63 Chevy spotting. Although there seems to be quite a bit missing from the car in today’s pic, what’s left looks pretty solid and might be worth the effort of a restoration. With prices of two-door hardtops and convertibles going through the roof, the plainer four-doors are starting to get a second look from collectors. Get in on the bottom floor now. This one’s sitting in a yard in the Town of Lewiston.
