Man O’ Trees vs. City of Niagara Falls

In this week’s print edition, we offered a brief rundown of the lawsuit construction firm Man O’ Trees filed on Tuesday against the City of Niagara Falls, its elected officials, several of its employees, and several of its consultants on the stalled Lewiston Road reconstruction project.
And here are three exhibits that we found interesting: a letter from City of Niagara Falls Jeffrey Skurka to Man O’ Trees, notifying Man O’ Trees that the city considers the contractor to have defaulted on the contract; a letter from Man O’ Trees attorney John Bartolomei to Donna Owens, the city administrator; and a letter from the contractor’s bonding company, Hanover Insurance, to Owens, about the city’s decision to sever ties with Man O’ Trees.
More on this stuff soon.
