YAK Car Pic of the Day

This 1953 Plymouth Cranbrook four-door may look like a bottom-of-the-line car, but that’s just because it seems to be missing most of its chrome. The Cambridge was the cheap-o model. Plymouth (and most of the Chrysler Corp. cars) were nearing the end of their — what I call — boring years. The 1955 models would actually be stylish, and the ’57s set the industry on their ear. But, back to this ’53, which I spotted in Gasport a few weeks back. It could have been worse. It could have been a Dodge. Ugh!

Square enough to be cool?
