YAK Car Pic of the Day

The last time I saw one of these was in my box of Matchbox cars. But here’s a full-sized 1964 Vauxhall Victor Super (the base model) sitting in the parking lot of a Niagara Falls repair shop. Not, I hope, waiting for parts — how long do you suppose that might take? Not familiar with Vauxhall? Think Opel, but in Great Britain. Earlier versions of the Victor were sold in Pontiac dealerships in the U.S. up until the arrival of the 1961 Tempest compact. Victors were also sold for a few more years in Canada at Buick/Pontiac dealerships, and also at Chev/Olds dealerships where it was called the Envoy.
