The Last Vegas Hit Nietzsche’s

The Last Vegas

with Rusted Bullet, Ball Cheez Psychotics, Mob From Atlantis, and Cosmic Shakedown

Saturday, August 25

Hard rockers The Last Vegas will hit Nietzsche’s with special guests Saturday night (Aug 25). The Chicago based band’s latest record “Bad Decisions” hits stores August 28.Luckily bad decisions aren’t all they are making, since they decided to rock Allen with local favorites Rusted Bullet, Ball Cheez Psychotics, Mob From Atlantis, and Cosmic Shakedown. One could put this band on a mix tape featuring The Stooges, Alice Cooper, Social Distortion, Theory of a Deadman, and AC/DC and they would probably fit in pretty well. Bad Decisions will be their fifth full-length studio album. Rusted Bullet is a Buffalo based female fronted hard rock band influenced by the music of the Cult, Black Sabbath and Velvet Revolver. RB started rocking in 2004, but the addition of Sara Betz on vocals in 2009 took their rock anthems in a new direction. The music of Ball Cheez Psychotics sounds just as eccentric as it name. They describe themselves as “industrial strength country punk.” The local five-piece band has been recording since 1996. Mob From Atlantis is a local four piece that formed in 2010. Guitarist Mike Cassidy is influenced by legends such as Hendrix and Zappa.  The band will release an album this coming October, featuring the song “Worship,” a delightfully danceable, libidinous tune. Cosmic Shakedown describe their music as “neo-psychedilia, post-garage indie.” Their influences range from Gov’t Mule to The Doors, The Band and Hendrix. Don’t miss this solid line up of hard rock this weekend. —a.v.
