YAK Car Pic of the Day

Although a slew of these were sold, it’s unusual today to see a Dodge A100 van still on the road — especially one with a 383 decal on the side. The largest engine offered during the 1964-70 lifetime of the van was the 318 CID. So either someone stuffed a 383 in the tiny engine compartment which was located between the front seats, or this is Walter Mitty’s van. Of course, if you were going to fib, why not put a Hemi decal on there? Although, and this can’t be confirmed anywhere I checked, there are folks who say a few Hemi-equipped A100s were built. Now that would be some quick delivery truck! This spiffy orange van can often be seen parked outside of a Niagara Falls electrical supply store.
