YAK Car Pic of the Day

Back in the day, to liven up showroom traffic, manufacturers used to offer “special” models, which often embodied different paint jobs, stripes, or interiors. Like, for instance, this 1975 Dodge Dart Hang 10. It’s main claims to fame were the bright orange shag carpeting (this was the ’70s, after all), multi-colored seat inserts, and exterior tape stripes/decals. This specimen, wearing a Pennsylvania tag and seen behind a Cheektowaga motel, also has the optional rallye wheels and the 360 CID V-8. See the Hang 10 brochure page here.
