’46 Plymouth Deluxe, Niagara Falls USA

It’s another For Sale edition, as we find a 1946 Plymouth Deluxe four-door sedan sitting roadside in the Town of Niagara, just waiting for the right person to come along and buy it. I’m guessing the paint isn’t original (just as I’m guessing that whoever painted it ran out of masking tape when they got to the front). You may remember seeing a ton of these cars in old movies, as they were popular police cars and taxi cabs back in the day. The ’46 models were the first post-World War II Plymouths, and even though they didn’t seem much different from the ’42s (except for the grilles), Plymouth went out of their way to let you know just how different they were. You can see that special folder here. And see all of the 1942 Plymouths here. This Deluxe sedan sold for $1,164 when it was new — see what you can get it for today!
