This 1956 Chevy Bel Air Nomad, seen in Tonawanda in a parking lot down by the river, is probably my favorite of the three years the nameplate was produced (1955-57). Maybe it’s because it seems like you don’t see as many any more (there were more ’55s made, but fewer ’57s), but the lines of the ’56 I think are the sweetest. This color combo is pretty sharp, too, but I’m not too keen on those factory wire-wheel hubcaps. They always look out-of-scale to me.
