YAK Car Pic of the Day

'73 Continental Mark IV, Lewiston, N.Y.

Now that gas prices are dropping again, you may want to consider buying this 1973 Continental Mark IV (which, just between you and me, actually was a Lincoln, no matter how Ford referred to it in their marketing). Don’t let the 440 CID V-8 engine (complete with a 4-bbl carburetor) scare you off — you’ll be pampered by the standard AM radio, seated in Twin-Comfort Lounge Seats which are covered in soft-textured Westminster cloth, while gazing at the dash’s lovely Kashmir walnut woodgrain matina (woodgrain matina?) and baby burl walnut woodgrain applique. Sounds super luxo. This one, presently awaiting a new owner, is in Lewiston.
