YAK Car Pic of the Day

'71 "Heavy Chevy" Chevelle

It always amazes me what guys (and I’m sure they were mostly guys) would pay extra for back in the muscle car days. It was so much cheaper for your car to look fast than to be fast. Like this 1971 Heavy Chevy (Chevelle). If you were even cheaper, there was always the Rally Nova. You can see the salesmen’s brochure here, outlining all the zoomy-looking extras which, as pointed out, cost only a “few extra dollars.”
