G4G’S 2012 Students for the Arts Festival

See the work and performances of students who have been mentored by local professional artists and
learn about the ways YOU can become involved with WNY’s rich arts and cultural community.

Several months ago, G4G reached out to the community in search of local professional artists interested in mentoring high school students in the area.

Master Mentors: Jennifer Fitzery, Cassondra Argeros, Patrick Moltane, Jill Greenberg, Jim Bush, Sarah Haykel, & Marcus Wise

In addition to giving students the unique artistic opportunity to be mentored by local professional artists, G4G has also designed its Students Fro the Arts festival to feature organizations i the area with existing youth arts education opportunities. G4G will be collaborating with 18 organizations.

Featured organizations: Configuration Dance Theatre & School of Ballet, Peace of the City, Urban Canvas Project, Community Music School, Torn Space Theater, Buffalo Arts Studio, Sugar City, Shea’s Performing Arts Center, Squeaky Wheel, Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens Society, Inc., Locust Street Neighborhood Art Classes, Springville Center for the Arts, Theatre of Youth Company, Inc., Carnegie Art Center, Young Audiences of Western New York, Explore & More Children’s Museum, Musicians United For Superior Education, Hull Family Home & Farmstead
