YAK Car Pic of the Day

’68 Chevy, Grand Island, N.Y.

Today’s one of those days when I wish I had some kind of a business that I could use a restored truck to drive around in. Picture this very un-aerodynamic (seen on Grand Island) 1968 Chevy delivery van (with an after-market body, I think by Grumman), but picture it without the chrome wheels and Baby Moon hubcaps; picture it showroom fresh with an eye-catching paint job and a catchy company name. That’s what I’m talkin’ about. A lot of these trucks (those which haven’t rusted into oblivion) are being fixed up and “hot-rodded” these days (see below). They look sharp, yes but I’ll take mine stock, please!
