Mystery Art Spotted in Buffalo

At various places around the city, pallets painted like American flags have sprung up underneath stop signs. We’ve spotted four so far. This one’s at Days Park.

What does it all mean? Patriotic? Or a critique of the USA?

But then, one on Richmond is not under a stop sign, but under a “No Standing” sign. Hmmm…

Provocative, no? Discuss…

There’s one on the corner of Chapin and Potomac, not sure if you guys spotted that one yet.

Red & white stripes do not constitute our flag. The pallet idea is kind of interesting though….pallets, loads…what is rockin’ this guys boat? I think that I think to much. Monumentalizing the trivial.

  • I see it as: “Stop America”

obviously a comment on Occupy movement…in my humble opinion that is.
