The Sabres New Locker Room – An Inside Peek

This afternoon at First Niagara Center, members of the media were invited to get a first peek at the interior renovations to the arena’s locker room and player facilities.

The improvements are magnificent.

There are new players lounges, expanded training and workout facilities, a workshop for equipment repair, modern medical room, a “wow” factor elliptical dressing room. Historical exhibits abound throughout the corridors, a central foyer between the dressing room and the player tunnel displays team hall of famers and retired numbers, while murals of current players adorn the walls above each locker room stall.

The tour was presented by Frank Cravotta, Director of Creative Services, and Stan Makowski Jr., who supervised the construction effort.
