Living With The Past
Saturday, Sept 17
On Saturday, (Sept 17), there will be a special performance by Living with the Past at the Tralf Music Hall, commemorating the 40th Anniversary of Jethro Tull’s Aqualung album. This tribute show, the only one of its kind in the U.S. this year, will feature the world’s foremost Jethro Tull band, a group of musicians spanning Boulder, Colorado to Western New York. The band is comprised of frontman and flautist, “Ray”, two lead guitarists, John Berg and Erin Ward, Kevin Kukoda on keyboards, Mark Colicchia on drums, and Bryan Owczarzak on bass. The band will perform several songs from the Aqualung album, as well as cuts from such Tull greats like Thick Brick, Benefit, Stand Up, and other Tull progressive classic rock albums that have helped Jethro Tull achieve 70 million albums sold, and still going strong. Opening the show will be local guitar great, Ron LoCurto. Doors open at 7PM, show at 8PM. Tickets are $12 in advance, $16 day of show, and are available at The Tralf box office, Ticketmaster, and Wal-Mart. —a.v.
