YAK Car Pic of the Day

’81 Lancia Zagato, Lewiston, N.Y.

Don’t see one of these every day (only 9,390 were produced) — a 1981 Lancia Zagato, spied recently on the streets of Lewiston. Lancia (pronounced LAN-sha) became part of the Fiat group in 1969, and also had a brief flirtation with Saab in the 1980s. This Zagato listed for $11,800 when new, and was a member of the Beta family: the Berlina was a four-door sedan, and there was a Beta coupe and an HPE three-door hatchback.
