This 1963 Ford Falcon Ranchero can be found sitting in a side yard in Ransomville, N.Y. The Ranchero made its debut in 1957, based on Ford’s full-size body style. It was basically a two-door station wagon with a shortened roof and an open, pickup truck-style rear storage area. In 1960 Ford moved the Ranchero to the new compact Falcon line. Before its eventual demise after the 1979 model year, it moved once again (in 1966) to the intermediate Fairlane/Torino body style.
