1969 Lincoln Continental, Niagara Falls, NY

This 1969 Lincoln Continental is presently parked in the city of Niagara Falls USA. It’s very similar to one which spent last summer in the front yard of a Grand Island home. In ’69 the Continental came in two-door ($5,830) and four-door ($6,063) versions; also in the showrooms was the Continental Mark III coupe, whose brisk sales eventually led to the demise of the full-sized two-door Continental. In 1969 a total of 29,258 four-doors left the factory, compared to only 9,032 two-doors, and 23,088 Mark IIIs (at a princely $6,758).
