2nd Annual Powder Keg Festival Activities Announcement

Activities for the 2nd Annual Powder Keg Festival were announced today at the Pearl St. Grill, and according to the event’s planners, they are taking the it to the next level. The world record breaking Ice Maze will be absent this year, but rather than going all out on one huge attraction, dozens of smaller activities, like Igloo Building, Turkey Bowling, and the Mark Twain Chili cookoff, a contest based on a scene from Bruce Almighty, have been added to the lengthed list of activities, as well as the Fight For Air, a race to the top of the HSBC Bank building to benefit the American Lung Cancer Association. Oh and be prepared to grab a sled and speed on down the Seneca St. off ramp again. Mayor Brown gave the cities complete support of the event, which will be moved a few blocks away to Coca-Cola Field, and will coincide with the Labatt Buffalo Pond Hockey Tournament.
