Still on the Road

Okay, so this 1964 Oldsmobile F-85 club coupe is still on the road in the sense that it’s still wearing license plates — to me it looks like it’s been parked in the same exact spot just outside the village of Wilson, N.Y. for months now. The F-85 was the predecessor of the Cutlass, which in 1961 was the top-o’ the line F-85 sport coupe. The ’64 club coupe in the grass listed for $2,343 plus options when new, and a total of 16,298 were produced. The F-85 nameplate disappeared after the 1972 model year, when all mid-sized Oldsmobiles were Cutlasses, and the new compact was the Omega.
