Looking for Halloween Weekend Happenings?

If you’re the last minute type who hasn’t made plans yet, you might have missed Artvoice’s Halloween issue… last week. We’ve got you covered. Here’s some handy links to find your way to all of our Halloween 2010 coverage:
First, you’ll want to check out our Halloween party guide in last week’s issue. This week, our film feature offers up a list of some Halloween and horror themed movies – both new and old – playing around town. Then there is the venerable Artvoice events calendar, which has you covered for everything in between. Jump to the live music listings, or visit the community event listings. (Tip: try the “weekend ahead” option to see Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on a single page.) If you’d like to narrow your search, try the seasonal events category for Halloween themed events, or just tell us what you’re looking for on the search page.
To help get you in the mood, pull up last week’s issue in its entirety where we covered everything from spooky history, the paranormal, ghoulish gourmet, an 5 Questions segment with a local ghost hunter, and even suggestions for your Halloween playlists. You’ll find some more inspiration on the Still Buffalo blog, with photo galleries of Halloween themed window displays found in the Elmwood Village, and coverage of the holiday themed Nickle City Cake Challenge, showcasing edible works of art care of some of Buffalo’s most talented chefs.
