The Old Car Dealer Dept.

This West-Herr Ford ad from the November 27, 1968 Buffalo Evening News offers a new 1969 Ford Fairlane 2-door hardtop for a mere $2,398. And that’s with goodies like a vinyl top, whitewalls, and deluxe wheel covers. All pretty nifty stuff back then. In 1968, West-Herr had been in their new 5025 Camp Rd., town of Hamburg location for two years, having moved from the old building located at was then 284 Clark St. in the village of Hamburg. Street numbers in Hamburg changed to four-digits in the 1980s, and the old Clark Street building is now number 4255, and is home to Western Competition & Collision, and Angela’s Fine Foods.
