WIVB: Aiming at Delano, Hitting Kuzma

I’ve been out of town, so I missed last week’s report on Channel 4 about the two charges of election fraud against former Buffalo Police detective Dennis Delano, who’s running for Cheektowaga town justice. I haven’t spoken to Delano or his opponent, James Vallone, so I’m not going to speculate on whether of not Delano’s nominating petitions are valid or not.
But watch this WIVB video and pause at the 31-second mark, where the camera shoots a legal complaint:
That complaint is filed against Mike Kuzma, who’s running against State Senator Bill Stachowski in the Democratic primary. You can see his name there. That’s not the complaint against Delano at all. Kuzma’s signatures are also being challenged, too, but they’re entirely different cases.
So Channel 4 pulls a two-fer here: They shoot a piece about Delano’s case, and drag in Kuzma’s for good measure. They couldn’t find the right paperwork?
