1957 Ford Fairlane, Olean N.Y., slightly customized

This cool 1957 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan was spotted last week in an Olean, N.Y. parking lot. Slightly customized — it’s a rolling advertisement for J.C Whitney! Gotta love the hanging plate below the NY tag: it’s for the “Street Masters” car club. The Fairlane was in the middle of Ford’s lineup in 1957; above the Custom and Custom 300, below the Fairlane 500.

    Very nice, very nice.

The ’57 was a successful car for Ford; it outsold the Chevy that year which was quite an achievement when you the formidable appeal the ’57 Chevy held.
