Post-Thanksgiving Merriment Tonight, Tomorrow
The Steam Donkeys, winners of this year’s Top Original Group in the Buffalo Music Awards, will welcome back lead guitarist Charlie Quill for a pair of shows this weekend—combined with the slinky Telecaster attack of current picker Dave Kimball. They’re joined by Dan Delano on keyboards, John Brady on drums, John Weber on bass, and yours truly—strumming and crooning. I’d also like to offer a great big thanks to Nightlife Magazine and the Buffalo Music Awards for my super-cool trophy as the 2009 Top Original Male Vocalist. And thanks for all the kind votes, folks!
Shows are tonight (Friday) at 7pm, at the Tudor Lounge, followed by another one Saturday night at the Sportsmen’s Tavern, at 9:30pm.
Remember…it don’t mean a thang, if it ain’t got that twang.
