Tonight: The Lebowski Festival @ Voelker’s

biglebowskiTonight is the second annual celebration of  all things Lebowski at Voelker Lanes (corner of Elmwood and Amherst, across from Joe’s Garage). Thirty dollars  (a portion of which benefits the local chapter of the American Cancer Society) buys you unlimited bowling and shoe rental, some local comedians, live music, and an open bar from 11pm to 1am. Contests include His Royal Dudeness Trivia and the Buffalo Lebowski Achiever Costume Extravaganza. Doors open at 10:30pm.

  • We want to thank everyone who came out this year to the 2nd Annual Buffalo Lebowski Festival. Without you fellow Achievers this event would not be possible! We want to thank all the helpers we had for doing a great job- Dave, Josh, Henry, & Jess. Another very special thank you to those talented Achievers comedians: Marc Walton Rick Matthews, Chet Wild, Chris Gullo, Brian Brady, and musician: John Gorman. The good folks from Try-it Distributing and Labbatt Blue came through again this year with some outstanding prizes. Try-it and Labbatt have been fantastic companies to work with. These two organizations show that even in these troubled times large companies can lend a helping hand to improve the areas they do business in. Voelker Lanes again was the perfect venue! The kind hearted folks at Voelkers went out of their way to make sure the night ran smooth and with out problems. I would recommend working with Voelkers if you have the opportunity. I would also recommend you sit down with the 90+ year-old Mrs. Voelker she is allota of fun. Last I want to thank Queen City Imaging for doing all the print work for us. Each of you brought something special to B.L.F. and we wanted you all to know it was only possible because of you. Thanks Buffalo- B.L.F. HQ
