Buffalo Lockjaw Wins Nice Award

The New Atlantic Booksellers Association named Buffalo Lockjaw, by former Buffalonian Greg Ames, one of its books of the year last Friday. Congratulations to Greg; you can read an interview with him here.

  1. Yes! Congrats to Greg for producing one fine novel with local flavor that will broaden the uninitiated on our City.

    Hopefully by now, Hollywood’s flooding him with screenplay offers and finally Buffalo will be legitimately depicted instead of the ‘freak show’ imagery in Vincent Gallo’s dismal ‘Buffalo ‘66.’
