LoCurto and Hertel-North Buffalo Business Association Purchase Street Cleaner
Delaware District Councilmember Michael J. LoCurto recently collaborated with the Hertel-North Buffalo Business Association for the acquisition of a new street cleaning machine that will aid in trash and snow removal on Hertel Avenue. This is good news for one of Buffalo’s most vibrant business districts. The “Bobcat Toolcat,” as it is known, arrived just in time for the Sorrento Cheese Italian Heritage Festival, which takes place from July 16th through the 19th. The Bobcat will be instrumental in the daily street and sidewalk clean-up efforts stemming from the festival.
Seen with Councilmember LoCurto (C) are Association V.P. Ron Deschenes (L) and Board Member Carm Palma (R).

Great Work!
Where was the official ribbon cutter for the city Lord Byron ? Didn’t he know they would have cameras their ? What is next – will the neighborhoods have to start buying their own fire engines ?

Hey!
Forget about the minor political truf battles in the Queen City for a few minutes…
Given the amount of curbside trash and litter that tends to accumulate throughout the Spring (post snow melt…) and Summer (post Italian Festival…) and all of the miscellaneous urban flotsam & jetsam that blows around our North Buffalo Business District – the “Bobcat Toolcat” will be a great improvement. I just hope that I get to drive that Bad Boy down Hertel Avenue.
ps: just make sure it gets used all the way to 1096 Hertel Avenue to the Bella Mia Candy Store! Keep up the good work!!
