Who’s That Looking at the Camera?

From today’s New York Times. There’s good reason that Malcolm Smith had Antoine Thompson at his right hand yesterday.

Who you don’t see is Stachowski.

To quote the Buffalo News; “The dealmaking calls for awards to the three holdouts — Sens. Pedro Espada, Carl Kruger and Ruben Diaz — with stipends, leadership titles and, in the case of Kruger, chairmanship of the powerful Senate Finance Committee.

In elevating Kruger, Sen. William Stachowski, a Lake View Democrat, was passed over for the finance job, a post that, in the hands of the right lawmaker, can wield enormous influence over the state budget process, not to mention additional pork money for projects back home. Stachowski has been the top Democrat on the committee, and during his close re-election race last fall, Democrats told voters that he would be getting the fiscal post.”

Hell with Who’s That Looking at the Camera?
That’s State Senator Freddie Kruger looking at them.

This really is a nightmare come true!

Whether Smith lied or not about Stachowski isn’t a question.

Why he lied about about Stachowski is!

The Democrats in the Assembly have been in the majority for ages and Buffalo was ignored.
Let’s wait and see if there is any difference now that they are also in the Senate majority.

If not; it’ll be time for DeLano to get us out of prison.
