I lot of us may like or dislike Carl Paladino. But we all have to admire a person who puts out their opinion without worrying about who they offend. Doctor Williams is an Idealist. Mr Paladino is a Realist. They will clash. I wish the best to both.

am one of many who are very frustrated with the high taxes, waste of resources, and coruption in New York State. We need to cut spending and reduce taxes to the people residing in New York State. I can not encourage my children to move back home to New York when the job opportunities are so limited and the taxes are so much higher than other states. It seems that the rich get all the tax breaks and the “poor”. “disabled” and “disadvantaged” get enough government hand outs that they end up financially better off than the honest hard working person trying to live on a salary just above minimum wage. Mr. Paladino is probably not able to feel for the “middle-class”, but he does want New York State to grow financially healthier, even if for his own benefit. I applaud him for speaking up and hope that he can influence our state government to cut back on all of the “giving” and spending our taxpayers dollars.

The problem with NYS is there are SO many issues to attack. Doing some research into why NYS does not have no-fault divorce laws 25 YEARS after the rest of the country changed over, I found that the NYS legislature is one of about 6-7 in the country that is considered “full-time”. The part-time ones only are in session between 60 and 90 days a year – and they STILL seem to get all their work done on time. NYS is in session until June and how many years had the budget been overdue? Talk about the epitome dysfunctional…

Right On!! I am tired of visiting other cities and seeing all their development and the only thing that we develop is the benefits package of our unions, teachers, and government employees. It is pitiful. We need wholesale change here instead of the steady but continuous decline. Lets make the change and make it quick so in 10 years we have an area that we can be proud of instead of the joke of the country.

Minds like Mr. Paladino think of the Future, they’re not stalled in the present by Mayor Casey.

The “One and done” administration is at it’s end.

Mr. Paladino should start planning out Buffalo’s recovery with Mayor Mickey Kearns.

Poor Carl. He always has an ax to grind and a cross to burn. Carl needs to step aside. Anything he touches is poision. Carl is probaby working for the unions and legislators. His brand on any initiative means there will be no change and the status quo will prevail.
