They have destroyed one of the nicest spots in the city. I spent many hours sitting there when I lived in NYC... with the World Trade Center visible in the distance. The last time I was at the fountain, I found it odd to be there with no WTC....now there is not even the fountain. How very very sad. Why on earth would they do something like this???
